INTRODUCTION

Drowning is a leading cause of death among children of very young ages, so early swimming lessons may help save your child’s life. By enrolling your child in swimming school, he/she can learn in-water movements and decrease the risk of drowning. Research studies conducted by independent institutes indicate toddlers who learn swimming early reaches their developmental milestones much earlier.

Compared to infants, toddlers have more developed motor skills, muscular development, and mental capacities. Swimming can be a team activity during swimming lessons, which can be a great way for toddlers to build up their confidence and their social skills while enjoying with other children.

Speediswim teachers will help the toddlers to get better acclimated to the water environment and learn some basic skills, including water entry, breath control and floating. Swimming, and being in the water, can be as fun and easy,  games and activities, they earn best when they are having fun at the same time. Swimming activity provided at this age helps to strengthen the infant’s body and develop good coordination skills.

The speediswim level 2 program builds onto your child's natural reflexes to create learned swimming skills, such as submersion, survival skills, encouraging freestyle kicking with support and eventually children transitioning into independent swimming . These skills are taught through cognitive stimulating activities and games.

A friendly and enjoyable swim program encourages learning as the child has shown increase independence from parents and caregivers, willingness to take instruction from swim teacher, and respond to others with engagement in simple play.

Builds Child cognitive and motor skill development

When swimming, toddlers moves their arms while kicking their legs. And they’re doing these actions in water, which means their brain is registering the tactile sensation of water plus its resistance. Swimming is also a unique social experience, which furthers its brain-boosting power.

Build Self Confidence

We know kids can be a bit worried about the water & new experiences. Being able to swim well is one of the greatest gifts that can be bestowed upon a child .  A high level of swimming and water safety skills are necessary for full and is enjoyable . This will help them to self confidence.

At speediswim, we focus on  helping kids learn how to be safer in and around the water.  Water can be fun, but you should be aware of potential hazards.

Aids in muscle development

As children use their bodies to swim, the nerve cells in their brains develop. Neurons transmit information from the brain to the muscles, allowing children to move through the water and boost the development of spatial awareness.

It can also be the go-to exercise that improves their health and strengthens their heart and other organs like the lungs.

Swim Time is Fun

Swimming is a hugely enjoyable and relaxing experience. Water play is something that you can enjoy too. Bonding with your child in the water is a great way to share an exciting and valuable life experience. You’re also helping to create positive childhood memories they will always carry with them.
