The HOME OF SPEEDI Water Polo and Artistic Swimming

With effect from 1 Sep 2018, SPEEDISWIM is the Official Aquatic Sports partner of German European School Singapore (GESS), promoting Water Polo and Artistic Swimming (formerly known as Synchro) to the resident students of GESS and the general public.

The Aquatic Sports athletes from Team SPEEDI are privileged to train in an indoor 50m Olympics size pool of 2.2m deep, a brand new swimming complex inside GESS that opened in 2018. The state-of-an-art Swim complex in GESS serves an excellent purpose for the Artistic Swimming (AS) n Water Polo (WP) Development Program of Age Groups and Elite performance athletes, be it rain or shine.

Precinct Features

Cool & Relaxing Environment

Water recreation is fun but it is Dangerous, too. Thus, providing a safe learning environment is important where water activities is concerned. Children and Adult needs to feel safe in order to learn well.

Variety of activities and programmes

We provide swim skill development for various Aquatic Sport such as Water Polo, Artistic Swimming and Underwater Hockey also blended Learning approach combines pool session, with the use of technology to enhance skill practice; and, online learning encompass ZOOM session or with materials to reinforce skill set learnt.

Learner Pool with Safe Depth and Accessibility

Learner pool with safe depth and accessibility ideal for very young children, and, people with disabilities to learn swimming confidently. It is an 50m Olympic sized sheltered pool.

Participate in Swim Meets

Get the opportunity to race in Swim Meets of different levels and abilities when you enroll in our Competitive Swimming Squad Programme.

Getting Here By Public Transport

Step 1:

Alight at Hillview MRT station and head towards Hillview Exit B

Step 2:

Head towards bus stop 42991 which is before Hillview station Exit B and take bus 973 towards GESS

Step 3:

Once arrived outside German European School Singapore, proceed to walk around towards the school security which is Gate 2A and proceed to collect the pass for entry into the swimming facilities

Getting Here By Private Transport

STEP 1

There is a Taxi drop-off area on the second floor near the Admissions office for visitors.

STEP 2

From Upper Bukit Timah Road, at Dairy Farm Road, After Skywoods – TURN LEFT to Dairy Farm Heights

STEP 3

Or from BXE or Piter Road at Dairy Farm Road, TURN RIGHT to Dairy Farm Heights

STEP 4

Then TURN RIGHT to Dairy Farm Lane – ENTER from GATE 1
